The Legal Bit,
Made Simple
Here’s the honest answer to the one question many couples ask. In England and Wales a celebrant-led ceremony isn’t yet the legal marriage on its own. There is currently a wedding reform consultation happening in government and it is expected that celebrants will be granted that power as a result. But for now, the good news is that the legal part at the register office is quick, cheap (currently £87 for a 2+2 ceremony), and easy.
Although registrars have more flexibility than they used to, to create lovely ceremonies, many couples still feel restrained by the limitations of the ceremony style or venue options allowed. That’s where I come in. We save all the celebration, meaning, and emotion to tailor your ceremony exclusively to you. Any venue, any words, any rituals, and any music means a couture ceremony with no time limit and no rules. Your ceremony, entirely your way.

We start with a relaxed, no-obligation call to see if we're the perfect partnership. If it feels right, you complete a booking form and sign a contract with clear terms, so there are no hidden surprises later.

We meet in person, by video, by questionnaire or over WhatsApp, as often as you like. This is the listening part, where I gather the details that make your script unmistakably yours.

I write your ceremony from scratch and refine it with you until it's exactly right. I'll keep us on track with gentle timelines so there are no last-minute stresses.

Your Day
I arrive ahead of time to guide you and your guests, working alongside your planners and suppliers so everyone knows where to be and when. Afterwards, you keep a copy of your script for posterity, and I'm here for whatever life brings next.
